Code Enforcement Services will investigate for obstructions that are placed on the City Right of Way, including streets and sidewalks. Obstructions include:
- Basketball Goals
- Signs
- Visual Obstructions (causing traffic hazards) from Landscaping
- Brush/Debris
- Vehicles
Most suspected violations are addressed on weekends and/or special assignments. After the initial complaint is registered, the city automatically mails a letter of violation to the owner of the property. The City will work diligently to get the property into compliance. If the issue is not in compliance, a case may be filed in Municipal Court after 3 administrative letters are mailed to the property owners.
