Residents who receive Solid Waste Services provided by the City of San Antonio will automatically receive services once CPS Energy has been connected at the residence. If the service has not been connected, please contact CPS Energy at (210) 353-2222 to establish service. The solid waste service fees are charged based on the size of the garbage container and are billed monthly on the CPS Energy bill. Recycle and Organic services are included.
Effective October 1, 2024, the new monthly rates are as follows:

Solid Waste containers should be placed out by 7am on the day of collection. Recycle and Organics containers are placed out on the same day. Please allow a 3ft space between the containers. To request solid waste containers, or for additional information, please contact 311 Customer Service at 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000. 311 is available seven days a week from 7am-7pm.
