Property Tax Help

Saving...

The City of San Antonio is hosting workshops to help homeowners learn about exemptions and steps to submit an appeal to lower property taxes.

In June 2023 City Council doubled the City's homestead exemptions. This means homeowners will receive more property tax relief! Disabled and senior homeowners will benefit from a tax freeze and reduction of the property tax rate. The Bexar County Appraisal District (BCAD) will automatically update existing homestead exemptions.

You may verify your homestead status at bcad.org
