If you received a citation for an expired driver's license, license plates or registration, and meet the following terms it is up to the Judge whether to dismiss your case if you have the following items:
- Renew within 20 business days of the date you received the citation
- Provide proof with receipt to the court of renewal (for plates and registration you must also provide proof the late penalty fee assessed by the Tax Assessor Collector has been paid)
- Pay a $20.00 administrative dismissal fee If you received a citation for not having your drivers license or your proof of liability insurance with you at the time of the incident, the citation may be dismissed if you present proof and if it was valid on the date and time you were stopped.
