The community tool shed contains a collection of hand and gas power tools that can be used at no cost by residents, businesses, and community groups of San Antonio to clean and improve their properties.
Tools that are available to loan through the Community Tool Shed program include the following:

- drainage shovel
- gas-powered lawnmower
- gas-powered weed eater
- hammer
- hand pruner
- ladder
- leaf rake
- lopper
- metal rake
- pick axe
- pitchfork
- pole pruner (manual)
- push broom
- saw horses
- scoop shovel
- scrapers
- spade shovel
A completed Request and Release Form is required to use the tools. Residents may borrow the tools free of charge with advance notice, completed forms, and proper identification. An appointment must be made before going to the location to ensure someone is available to assist. Residents should call the phone number below and leave a voicemail for someone from the Tool Shed team to return the call.
