A maximum number of eight canines/felines are permitted at a residence only of which 5 can be canines.
More than 2 livestock (Equines, Bovines, Sheep, Goats, Llamas) on a property requires an excess animal permit. More than 8 fowl (only one of which can be a male) requires for an owner to apply for an excess animal permit which shall be valid for one (1) year.
To report excess animals at a resident without a permit, you may submit the form below or call 311 Customer Service at 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000. 311 is available seven days a week from 7am-7pm and on holidays from 8am-5pm.
