The City of San Antonio does not provide a service to shred paper, however, free paper shred days are held periodically throughout the year at various private facilities including Security Service Federal Credit Union, Office Depot and similar organizations. Please contact the private locations directly for information on paper shred dates.
To dispose of shredded paper, residents who are serviced by the City of San Antonio, may dispose of shredded paper in the green organics container by placing the shredded paper loose inside the container.
