Cardboard can be placed in the blue recycling container picked up weekly as part of the services provided by Solid Waste Management . All bulky item collection centers are now accepting cardboard from SWMD customers. New 'move-in' customers can utilize these sites for cardboard disposal. The amount is restricted to household 'moving in'- 'moving out' quantities (basically the amount that fits in your pickup truck). No trailers or commercial cardboard.
To recycle excess amounts of cardboard, you would need to contact a private company. For more information, please contact the National Recycle Hotline by calling (800) 253-2687
