Brush Collection

Brush collection is provided to all city residential solid waste ratepayers. Brush collections are provided two times per year, approximately every six months. Residents will receive a city flyer approximately 10 days before brush collection is scheduled for their area. Brush Pile Guidelines: -Brush pile must be approximately 8 cubic yards or less -Brush should be set out no later that 7:00am on the first day of the collection week. Do not place material at the curb after crews have passed your home. If the pile is set out late, Solid Waste Management will not return for collection. Brush piles should be placed within 8 feet of the curb, Please do not place brush piles near parked cars, fences, trees, mailboxes or other obstructions. Only brush is accepted, please do not place household garbage, bulky items or compostable waste in the pile. Even if your garbage is serviced in the alley, your brush or bulky pile must be placed at curbside in front of your house for collection.
