CPS Energy has a schedule that targets their high voltage systems and they maintain those areas throughout the year. CPS suggests customers that wish to trim trees near power lines contact a tree trimming company. Customers have the option of calling CPS to request the electricity be turned off temporarily while the tree trimming is occurring.
