School Flashers

School Flashing beacons draw motorists' attention to the reduced speed limit school zone sign. Locations eligible for flashing beacon installation include all designated school crosswalk locations and all arterial and collector streets adjacent to schools.

This service request is used to evaluate the current condition of the school flashers and determine if work is needed. If it is deemed that work is needed, the flashers will be repaired or replaced. Requests for school flasher maintenance will be investigated and addressed within 3 working days.
