The City does not allow the placement of mirrors near the roadway to address limited visibility at an intersection or curve. The effectiveness of mirrors in this situation is unknown and may provide an inadequate view of oncoming traffic. In addition, mirrors located near the roadway are likely targets for vandals.
For issues regarding limited visibility at an intersection, you may submit the form below or call 311 Customer Service at 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000. 311 is available seven days a week from 7am-7pm and on holidays from 8am-5pm. Residents can also access 311 to report and address urgent road emergencies or traffic signal malfunctions from 7pm-11pm by pressing Option 1.
