Downtown Parking Garages and Lots (assistance)

Downtown Parking Garages/Lots FAQ's:

• How can I report trash at a City parking garage? Call 311.
• Who can I call if I have no money to get out of the parking garage? You will not be allowed to leave the garage or lot without payment. It is not the city's responsibility and we cannot give permission to let anyone out.
• Can I park at a City owned garage/lot overnight? All city lots/garages are available for overnight parking with the exception of the Central Library. The rates apply per garage/lot. Please view the parking garage/lot list for rates. You do NOT need permission.
• Can I park a motorcycle at a City owned garage/lot? While there is no signage that restricts motorcycles from parking in the garages, they are not really set up to accommodate motorcycles.  Motorcycles are charged the same rates as regular motor vehicles. Motorcycles may park at any parking meters or pay stations or there are multiple open parking lots that can accommodate motorcycles such as: Houston/Nolan Lot, I/35 Lots, Fine Silver Lot.
• Do city parking garages have security cameras? Yes, city parking garages have cameras. For footage inquiries or for more information please call 311.
• What does it mean when a parking meter is bagged? Parking meters with a bag over them are reserved for a special event.
• Are there electric vehicle charging stations available? EV charging stations are available in the parking garages.
