Don't Block the Box Program

Saving...

The Don't Block the Box program is a measure taken by city leaders which compliments the Vision Zero initiative. Blocking the box means that a vehicle has stopped in the intersection and prevents or blocks other people driving, walking or biking from being able to cross the road. Blocking the box is not safe, it is illegal and causes traffic congestion.

Vision Zero is the initiative to achieve zero fatalities on the roadways. Through Vision Zero, the community shares the responsibility for ensuring the safety of people in our community. You may contact Vision Zero at (210) 207-7761.
