Stop Sign Study/Requests

Saving...

There are two types of stop sign studies: cross street stop study and an all-way stop study.  An example of a typical cross street study would be a request for a stop sign at a “T” intersection or to change an existing yield-controlled intersection with a stop control.  An all-way stop study is where an intersection already has stop signs on the minor street but stop signs are being requested for the major street to where all of the legs of the intersection have to stop (i.e. all-way stop).  Public Works engineering division will conduct an investigation to determine if stop signs are necessary. This service request will be investigated within 60 working days.
