Vehicles with three or more outstanding parking tickets are subject to be booted or impounded. When a vehicle is booted, it will not be released until the driver or owner appears in person at Municipal Court to pay all fines and fees, post a cash bond, or request a hearing to contest the outstanding parking tickets. The posting of a cash bond will allow the defendant three work days to present evidence to contest a case. The owner of an impounded vehicle may pay all fines and fees at the impound yard and has five working days to appear in court to contest the ticket(s).
