The use of fireworks in the City of San Antonio is illegal and can result in a Class C Misdemeanor which can carry a fine of up to $2,000.

If you are injured or someone you know is injured because of fireworks, please call 911.

If you see reckless use of fireworks that presents an immediate risk of bodily injury or fire hazard, then please call the Non-Emergency number 210-207-7273. The San Antonio Fire Department will prioritize these calls and will respond based on risk assessment and the then current demand of calls.

The Bexar County Public Safety Communications Center will operate a fireworks hotline from Monday, June 30 through Saturday, July 5. Residents in unincorporated Bexar County who see unsafe or illegal uses of fireworks should call 210-335-FIRE (3473).
