Garage Sales No Permit

Code Enforcement Services will investigate for garage sales that are occurring without a required garage sale permit and/or for garage sales happening more than once per quarter, per calendar year (once between Jan-Mar, once between Apr-Jun, once between Jul-Sep, once between Oct-Dec). The City may require the property owner to obtain a permit or immediately cease operation. After the initial inspection, the City is required to provide property owners 10 days to address concern. The City will work diligently to get the property into compliance. If the issue is not in compliance, a case may be filed in Municipal Court within 90 working days.
