Basketball Goals blocking the Sidewalk

Saving...

This service requests addresses basketball goals or other obstructions placed on City public way.

The City will investigate to confirm basketball goals or other obstructions are placed on City public right-of-way, including streets, curbs and sidewalks (including the grassy area between the curb and sidewalk).  Most suspected violations are addressed on weekends and/or special assignments. After the initial complaint is registered the city automatically mails a letter of violation to the owner of the property. The City will work diligently to get the property into compliance. If the issue is not in compliance, a case may be filed in Municipal Court after 3 administrative letters are mailed to owners of the basketball goal.

To report a basketball goal blocking the right-of-way, you may submit the form below or call 311 Customer Service at 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000. 311 is available seven days a week from 7am-7pm and 8am-5pm on holidays.
