The Salvation Army Emergency Shelter is located at 515 West Elmira San Antonio, Texas 78212 and is operated 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. You may contact the Salvation Army Emergency Shelter by calling (210) 352-2046 (Women, Children & Intact Families) or (210) 226-2291(Men).
The shelter provides immediate, short-term housing for women and families experiencing homelessness. It is the only Emergency Shelter program in Bexar County that is able to house a complete family. The objective is to move these individuals and families from crisis to stability with emergency shelter. Rooms come available most days on a first-come, first-served basis.
