Right to Counsel Program

The Right to Counsel Program in San Antonio provides services for residents experiencing issues with their landlord and their housing conditions.  The program will provide legal counseling for tenants who are facing evictions, especially those who do not have the means to retain an attorney.

The Right to Counsel Program can be contacted for issues such as:

  • You are denied a copy of your lease agreement.
  • You feel retaliated against by your rental housing provider.
  • Your rental housing provider is withholding your security deposit.
  • Your rental housing provider is not making essential repairs to your unit. Call 3-1-1 to report property maintenance issues.
