Resource Center at Villa Coronado

The Resource Center at Villa Coronado is located at 11030 Ruidosa St. San Antonio, Texas 78214. The Center will be a new asset that Metro Health staff and community organizations can use to continue their work to increase access to healthy foods, address the drivers of food insecurity, and promote healthy eating and active living activities.

The following activities are available:

• Community meetings
• Free little library
• A private lactation room
• Resume workshops and job application support
• Monthly mobile health services (examples: STI testing, mammograms, WIC enrollment)
• Fitness classes (examples: walking groups, Tai-Chi, yoga)
• Fruit tree maintenance and harvesting activities
• Nutrition and gardening classes
• Health promotion classes (examples: Diabetes Self-Management, Positive Parenting Program)

HOURS

• Wednesday - Friday: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
• 1st Saturday of every month: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
