The Air Quality Program monitors the ambient air in San Antonio. Businesses with air pollution emissions are required to register with Metro Health and pay an annual registration fee of $200 per facility. The required registration will aid in the identification of local sources of ozone precursors, develop steps to lower emissions and improve air quality for residents.
