The Solid Waste Management department will exchange waste containers for residents who want to downsize their recycle, organics or garbage containers. Garbage service rates are charged by the size of the container. Recycling and Organics containers are provided free of charge for solid waste customers. Residents are always able to downsize or upsize their cart(s) at no cost. Additional cart upsizes are $25 per occurrence. Requests to exchange a container will be addressed within 5 working days.
Effective October 1, 2023, the new monthly rates are as follows:

*When downsizing a cart, fee adjustments may take 2-3 billing cycles and will not begin until the month after the cart was exchanged.
