Transportation for Public Comment

Transportation assistance is now available for Public Comment Participants.

  • Register to speak at City Council Public Comment or A Session and request transportation assistance at saspeakup.com (available for Wednesday Evening Public Comment and City Council A Sessions).
  • Check your SA Speakup registration email confirmation and make sure to have it available (printed or on your mobile device) on the meeting day.
  • Via bus fare will be free to the Municipal Plaza Building by showing your SA SpeakUp registration email to the bus driver.
  • Present your SA SpeakUp registration email to a City staff member at the lobby desk to receive your return ticket for your fare free VIA ride home.
  • Please arrive on time. Return tickets will only be provided Wednesdays 4-5:15pm., Thursdays 8-9:15am or 1-2:15pm.

Public Comment is your opportunity to address your City of San Antonio elected officials directly about issues that are important to you and your community. Whether you comment online, address City Council virtually at a Wednesday Public Comment session, or speak on a specific agenda item at a Thursday morning A Session, your voice is important and will be heard.
