Filing a claim with the City of San Antonio

To file a claim for personal injury or property damage pertaining to city property, you must first notify the Office of the City Clerk in writing at PO Box 839966, San Antonio, Tx 78283. Go to sanantonio.gov/RiskManagement and click on claims administration to find the claim forms to be mailed or submitted electronically. Please allow 10 business days for the City to respond to your claim. To personally deliver a document, please go to the Office of the City Clerk located at the concourse level in the City Tower located at 100 W Houston St. San Antonio, Texas 78205.

The Office of the City Clerk is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and closed on City Holidays. Visit the following website for more information on hours and services at www.sanantonio.gov/clerk

Please contact 311 to submit a report to investigate the cause of the injury or damage. 311 Customer Service is available at 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000. 311 is available seven days a week from 7am-7pm.
