The City of San Antonio is beginning the community participation process for the 2022-2027 Bond Program, the largest Bond Program proposal in San Antonio’s history! The 2022-2027 Bond Program is anticipated to be $1.2 Billion.
The community phase will include five community bond committees that will focus on:
* Streets, Bridges & Sidewalks
* Drainage & Flood Management
* Parks, Recreation & Open Space
Residents and organizations are invited to attend any of the five-community bond committee meetings and participate in Citizens to be Heard during the second and third meetings.
The Bond Program Community Meetings will begin in October 2021 and run through December 2021. All meetings will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center located at 900 E. Market Street from 6 to 8 p.m. Parking will be free and meetings will be open to the public.
Recommended projects will be submitted to City Council and the Mayor for consideration in January 2022. Upon their review and approval, the Mayor and City Council will create a call to action for the Bond Program.
