The Office of Historic Preservation's Legacy Business Program encourages San Antonians to explore, discover, and celebrate the historic resources that make San Antonio unique. Businesses eligible for this program have been around for 20 years or more and contribute to the history, culture, and authentic identity of San Antonio.
To qualify, businesses must be registered as a legacy business through the Office of Historic Preservation as well as located in the World Heritage Buffer Zone, or within a two-mile radius of Mission Concepcion, San Jose, San Juan or Espada. This program will provide matching grant funds for façade upgrades, landscaping, signage and parking improvements to help small, local, community businesses take advantage of the opportunities provided by the San Antonio Missions’ World Heritage designation.
