Capacity Building and Bonding Assistance Program

A new Capacity Building & Bonding Assistance Program is available that is designed to help eligible local small, minority, and woman-owned business owners bid of City of San Antonio construction contracts. The program was developed by the San Antonio Economic Development Department and the San Antonio Economic Development Corporation (SAEDC), administered in partnership by Alamo Surety Bonds.

Applicants accepted into the program will receive educational resources, as well as access a $500,000 pool of funds for those in need of assistance to cover costs related to City of San Antonio bonding requirements in order to bid on City contracts.
The goal of this program is to help increase the number of eligible small, minority, and woman-owned businesses who are actively bidding on City construction contracts.
