Two new pop culture-influenced exhibitions take over Centro de Artes Gallery (located at Historic Market Square) - Millennial Lotería by California artists Mike Alfaro and Gerardo Guillén and Permanencia Voluntaria by artist Efedefroy (Froy Padilla Aragón) from Oaxaca, Mexico. These two separate, yet equally inspiring, exhibitions will be on display through June 30, 2024. Free and open to the public.
National Poetry Month San Antonio - April 2024
April is National Poetry Month, one of the largest literary celebrations in the world, and we’re inviting everyone in San Antonio to go big, with a robust line-up of events for all to enjoy! It all kicks off with the 10th Annual Viva Poesía event taking place on Saturday, April 6 starting at 6 p.m. at Mission Marquee Plaza.

New Exhibition - Resilient and Responsive: Artists and the Environment at Culture Commons Gallery
Join us for the opening reception for Resilient and Responsive: Artists and the Environment on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Culture Commons Gallery. The City of San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture—in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability—presents an exhibition dedicated to climate, the environment, and community response, and explores our understanding of science, nature, and impact on the natural world.
This exhibition will be on display April 11, 2024 through January 17, 2025.
