Vector Control

Saving...

Vector is an organism, such as a mosquito, that carries disease. Vector Control issues on private property (such as bees, mosquitos or other insects, pests or rodents) would be the homeowner's responsibility to contact a private pest control or exterminator.

Vector control technicians will investigate complaints and treat for mosquitoes on public property (excluding residential/private property) located inside the city limits. Vector Control Technicians will investigate within 4 working days and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with Metro Health procedures.

To report Vector Control issues on public property, you may submit the form below or call 311 Customer Service at 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000. 311 is available seven days a week from 7am-7pm and on holidays from 8am-5pm.
