Parking Issues

Public Works will investigate whether changes to on-street parking are needed or desired.  If changes are needed for roadway operational or safety purposes, work will be scheduled for implementation.  If the changes are desired by the adjacent property owners, a petition signed by all of the adjacent property owners will be required before any work is considered.  The petition must be signed by representatives of contiguous properties, including at least one corner lot.

Parking enforcement issues should be rerouted to the Police Department or the Parking Enforcement Division with the Center City Development Office.  Signs typically will not be installed for universally recognized conditions where parking is understood to be prohibited such as around fire hydrants, railroad tracks, driveways, STOP signs and crosswalks, etc. This service request will be investigated within 30 working days.
