Summer Food Program

The Parks and Recreation Department sponsors a Summer Food Program funded by a U.S. Department of Agriculture grant. Food is served at community center sites and other locations throughout the summer. High quality meals similar to those served during the school year by the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs are offered free for youngsters ages 18 and under at the pre-approved sites.

Free “Grab and Go” drive through style meals will be provided at various locations (local area community centers and other locations) throughout the City starting June 1, 2020.  Meals are available for parents to pick-up. Meal pick-up times vary by location.

Parents or guardians picking up meals without children must show one of the following documents for each child when they arrive to take food:
* Individual student report cards
* Birth certificate for children not in school
* Student ID cards

No more than 1 Lunch Meal and 1 Snack Meal per child per day
