The San Antonio City Council has created a Redistricting Committee to address redistricting in the City of San Antonio.

The City Council approved new City Council boundaries in June 2022.  These new boundaries go into effect for the next regular election in May 2023.

The City Council appointed a Redistricting Advisory Committee (RAC) with 23 members of the public. Each City Council member appointed 2 members and the Mayor appointed 1 member and 2 co-chairs. The RAC worked with City staff and consultants to redraw district boundaries.  The final map can be found here.
